About TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic 17-amino-acid fragment of Thymosin β-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein abundant in human platelets, wound fluid, and most tissues. TB-500 corresponds to the bioactive central region of the parent protein and is widely studied as a research peptide for tissue-repair pathways.
Unlike full-length Tβ4 (which is harder to synthesise and less stable), TB-500 retains the actin-binding and migration-promoting properties of the parent molecule while being far more practical to handle and reconstitute in a research setting.
