What Research Models Has GHK-Cu Been Studied In?

Published 2026-10-26 · REVIVE Peptides Research Desk · 1 min read
Short answer: Four kinds. Cell culture, mainly human skin fibroblasts, where collagen and other matrix proteins were measured. Animal wound models, mostly rats and mice, where healing was measured after the peptide was applied. Computational analyses of gene-expression databases, published by Pickart, which produced the often-quoted figure of around 4,000 genes. And small topical studies in people, most of them industry-run. There is no large clinical trial.

The order above is also roughly the order of strength of evidence: the culture and animal work is the most reproducible, the database analyses are hypothesis-generating, and the human studies are small.
